ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Groups, fixtures

Fixtures have been confirmed for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies and USA.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 schedule, groups, and fixtures for the ninth edition of the 20-over format have been revealed. Nine venues will be used for the ICC tournament, three of which are in the USA and six in the tourist destinations of the Caribbean Islands.

Ten of the 20 teams started their journey in the USA during the 29-day tournament. USA will host 16 matches, with Florida 4, Dallas 4, and New York 8. One of the most anticipated games between India and Pakistan is scheduled at the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, on June 9th. Thirty-nine matches will unfold in the Caribbean, spread across six distinct venues. Guyana will host 6, Trinidad and Tobago 5, Antigua 8, St Vincent 5, St. Lucia 6, and Barbados 9 matches respectively. The semi-final clashes will take place in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, while the nail-biting final to determine the champion is scheduled for Barbados on June 29th.

The ICC (International Cricket Council) tournament is to be co-hosted by the West Indies and USA from June 1 to 29th. For the first time, Dallas will host the ICC T20 World Cup opening match between the co-host USA and Canada on Sunday, June 2, 2024. While fellow host the West Indies will play their opening match against Papua New Guinea in Guyana on Sunday, June 2, 2024. All Super 8 (knockout) matches, semi-finals and the final will be played in the West Indies. ICC T20 World Cup match timings are mentioned below in the fixtures table.

All of the 20 teams are divided into four groups. Teaming up with co-host USA in Group A are longtime cricket rivals India and Pakistan, along with debutant Canada and European qualifier Ireland making their inaugural appearance. Group B showcases the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 winner England, and Australia compete with Namibia, Scotland, and Oman. Group C brings together the formidable West Indies, New Zealand, and Afghanistan alongside the African qualifier, Uganda and Papua New Guinea. Meanwhile, Group D presents matchups between South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nepal, promising an exciting clash of cricketing talents.

The fixtures for the highly anticipated ninth edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 have been revealed. The ICC tournament is to be co-hosted by the West Indies and USA from June 1 to 29th. For the first time, Dallas will host the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 opening match between the USA and Canada on Saturday, June 1, 2024. There are 55 matches in this tournament taking place across nine vibrant venues, with six beautiful stadiums in the West Indies and three dynamic ones in the USA.
